SETUP REQUIREMENT: DIVISION Graphics Server needs IIS webserver, YOU MUST
INSTALL Microsoft IIS 5 or+ webserver AT FIRST! Then do the following:
CD1:
1.Use ROR's Lic Generator keygen.exe to generate the license file for your PTC HostID,
then copy the license.dat to c:\flexlm\ directory.
2.Setup Division Graphics Server 6.4.8 Datecode 2004030:
Run GraphicsServer.exe to install Division Graphics Server, tick all options.
When you see a "Welcome" windows, now start configuring Division Graphics Server.
Set Network Name: Your computer name, CAD Agent Port:600
Set DCS processed logon account's password,
Choose Temp Directory,e.g. c:\temp\oltemp NEXT,NEXT,ok,then
Set License Daemon:
license file: C:\flexlm\license.dat
Config ID: GraphicsServer: 200
Start the DCS process after Division Graphics Server has been set up successfully.
Browser the Http://localhost/eds/ to view the user interface.
http://localhost/eds/Admin/ to administer
P.S. if your O.S. is neither English nor Japanese, maybe the above page can't display correctly,
please use all files under this directory:
C:\PTC\GraphicsServer\eds\Localization\English
to replace all files under this directory :
C:\PTC\GraphicsServer\eds\Localization\Japanese
Run PVClientImportFilters.exe to install ProductView Client Import Filters.
If you don't install it, you can't directly open PRO/E WILDFIRE files in PV.
3.Setup Product view Release 6.4.8 Datecode 2004030:
Run Division Product View Client setup, select right language setup file,
e.g. ProductView_en.exe (English), click next until finish.
Run PorductView, Config license.
CONFIG ID: 200 License file: c:\flexlm\license.dat
CD2:
4.Setup PTC Viaualizaion Object Adapter CD:
Run setup.exe, select a installation directory, e.g. d:\ptc\productview_adapters6.4,
Check all options, click next until finish.
Then execute Start/Program/Graphics Server/Graphics Server Setup to config object adapters.
